Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our team. The Scaffold Builder is responsible for constructing and dismantling temporary scaffolding structures to support workers and materials during construction, maintenance, or repair projects.
Assemble and disassemble scaffolding components such as tubes, clamps, and boards safely and efficiently
Ensure scaffolding structures are stable and meet safety regulations and site requirements
Inspect scaffolding before use to identify and address any hazards
Load and unload scaffolding materials at job sites
Maintain clean and organized work areas
Follow site-specific safety protocols and OSHA standards
Work closely with other construction team members to complete projects on schedule
Use hand and power tools effectively and safely
Previous experience as a scaffold builder or in a similar construction role
Knowledge of scaffold types (frame, system, tube & clamp) and proper erection techniques
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Reliable transportation and punctuality
OSHA certification (preferred but not required)
