Overview Salesforce System Administrator role at Banner Engineering Careers. This position reports to the Director of Sales and Customer Operations and is part of the Global Sales and Customer Operations team. What You’ll Be Doing Serve as a system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment. Contribute to overall Salesforce design, roadmap, project management, and business requirements. Partner with the Global Sales Team to assist with data integrity efforts to maximize the organization’s ability to make appropriate business decisions. Be a go-to person for the Salesforce platform – assisting users in understanding the platform, using tools efficiently, and resolving conflicts. Review Salesforce release notes for current platform impact and necessary implementation needs to stay supported by Salesforce. Act as a training resource for new hires across the global sales organizations and sales systems. Gather, understand, and define business requirements with Banner management and end users. Maintain the Sales Systems Team Jira board to align work with business needs and timelines. Develop user stories and to-be process flows to support the design and development of Banner’s Salesforce solution and integrations with other Banner systems. Collaborate with team members to design solutions that meet business requirements and user stories. Contribute to integration projects as needed, collaborating with IT and Data Quality groups. Configure Salesforce, CPQ, Manufacturing Cloud, and embedding BI reporting to support user stories. Create and maintain system and process documentation for maintenance and user training. Provide day-to-day support of Salesforce user requests and develop ad-hoc and ongoing reporting and dashboards. Manage general and security settings for new and current users. Collaborate with developers to test and verify solutions meet business requirements. Stay up to date with new Salesforce features and functionality. Other duties as assigned. Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related industry experience 1-3 years of Salesforce experience, able to demonstrate experience in supporting Salesforce.com or a competitive CRM platform Preferred Able to obtain various Salesforce certifications Experience defining and supporting system integrations Expert skills in identifying and capturing business requirements Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies Experience with additional Salesforce packages and add-ons (e.g., Conga, Ironclad, Roll-up Helper, Salesforce Maps, Advanced Approvals) Familiarity with third-party data manipulation tools (e.g., Inspector, Dataloader.io, Workbench) Experience using business intelligence tools (Qlik Sense, QlikView) Active user of Salesforce Trailheads Previous experience in a manufacturing field Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong teamwork and ability to work with end-users and colleagues domestically and internationally Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; detail-oriented with the ability to work independently Experience with technical project management and team coordination Experience with MS Office Suite; strong Excel skills Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
