A Reservations Agent is responsible for reservations duties, but is not limited to handling guest room reservation requests for Carmel Valley Ranch, Alila Ventana Big Sur and Ventana Campground. Provide guests with hotel facility information and answer questions relating to the hotel and local area, blocking rooms, entering group rooming lists, posting prepayments, billing no-show reservations, and other duties as assigned (Position is for both properties; Carmel Valley Ranch & Ventana Big Sur). Also responsible for answering all incoming calls, handling guest mail and faxes, and taking messages for guests. Potential to work from home after 90 day, in person- training.

-Ensure accuracy on all reservations
-Strong sales and communication skills
-Multitask between calls, emails and a daily checklist
-Ensure responsibilities are being completed in a timely manner
-Must be passionate and truly engaged in taking care of our guests and recognizing their unique needs in order to exceed their expectations
Must have good typing skills, a pleasant attitude and excellent phone demeanor. Must work well under pressure. Customer service experience preferred. Excellent communication skills required as well as answer questions relating to the hotels. Schedule flexibility is necessary.
