The Registered Nurse (RN) - Supervisor in the Medical Unit is responsible for overseeing clinical operations and providing support to nursing staff while ensuring a safe, supportive environment for patients with complex medical conditions. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills and includes responsibilities for workforce engagement and departmental development. Applicants must hold an Associate's degree in Nursing, possess significant clinical experience, and have an active Registered Nursing license.

Compensation/Benefits

• $33.87-$55.31/hr. depending on previous work experience.
• Evening differential $2.50/hr.
• Night differential $3.00/hr.
• Weekend differential $3.00/hr.

Our 5TA Medical team provides medical/surgical care to adult populations with a wide variety of complex medical conditions. We focus our efforts on restoring optimal physical and mental well-being in each unique situation with a constant goal of maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our patients. Our unit consists of 16 med/surg tele beds and provides post-op colorectal care. We are looking for a high-energy RN with excellent communication skills to join our team of healers.

Job Summary

• Provides clinical expertise and support to the unit(s)
• Serves as a department leader alongside and in the absence of the manager
• Assists in cost containment activities
• Responsible for continued department development through orientation and education
• Works with the manager to promote an engaged workforce

Education

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.

Experience

• Three (3) years minimum experience in specialty area of assignment.
• Previous supervisory/management experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC.

• Current Oklahoma Registered Nursing license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ALS) training preferred.
