Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for clients, primarily focusing on children with behavioral challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles and demonstrate a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those they serve.
Duties
Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA, utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) to promote independence and improve overall functioning.
Monitor and document client progress, ensuring accurate medical documentation in compliance with organizational standards.
Provide behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors effectively.
Collaborate with families and caregivers to develop care plans that align with client needs and goals.
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients during therapy sessions.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health.
Previous
Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental or behavioral disorders, is highly desirable.
Knowledge of behavior management techniques and patient care practices is essential.
A background in creating or implementing care plans is an advantage.
