Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Recruiter for the College of Business . The selected individual will take a leading role in recruiting activities, both on and off campus, designed to increase the enrollment of business majors , both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.

These positions are full-time (40+ hours per week).

Summary of Duties:

• Facilitate recruiting and promotional events for the college
• Visit advisors and associations at high schools, colleges and universities
• Represent the college at school fairs, conferences, career days, and business and corporate events
• Initiate correspondence with prospective students through personal visits, letters, phone calls and emails
• Assist in the development of promotional materials and communications
• Develop an annual plan for recruiting efforts for the college
• Follow up on all applications received
• Arrange speaking engagements for college faculty
• Provide counsel on degree offerings, scholarships and career opportunities associated with degrees within the college
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with alumni and community contacts
• Travel is necessary for recruiting and public relations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of one year related experience preferred
• Active member of the church of Christ
