Job Description
Job Title: QuickBooks Bookkeeper Remote: Duration : 4 months New Roles. This is part of the QBL (QuickBooks LIVE) expansion Project.
Projected start date is around 12/16/2024.
These candidate will be hired off resume and successfully passing a Glider Assessment.
Location: 100% remote in continental US
Do they have reliable internet at home(MUST BE AN ETHERNET CONNECTION - NO WIFI)
- DO utilize a hardwired internet connection to connect the router to the ODE laptop. Routers must be connected to a broadband Internet service via cable, fiber, or DSL with a minimum connection speed of 5 mbps upload, 3 mbps download, and 150 ms latency.
- DON'T use MiFi/Jetpack devices, cellular hotspots, smartphones, satellites, microwaves, proxy services, or non- VPNs to connect to systems.
- DON'T use any Verizon, AT&T or any other provider WIFI Box. Being hard wired or using the ethernet connection into the WIFI box in NOT an Option.
- DON'T access any system (i.e., Outlook, Slack) on a smartphone
- DON'T connect the laptop outside of the United States.
- Under no circumstances should any expert connect to an unauthorized connection type (e.g., cellular hotspot/mobile tethering); doing so is a violation of policy that will trigger an immediate security alert
Candidates MUST be proficient at QuickBooks Online.
Candidate MUST have advanced Bookkeeping skills
You are required to be on camera for this role.
The role requires you to be in a call center queue
Performance will be heavily monitor and you must meet or exceed performance standards on a weekly ongoing basis
Job Profile:
- Customer service experience
- 3+ years of bookkeeping and/or accounting experience
- Minimum 2 years of QuickBooks Online experience
- QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor Certification required
- CPB (Certified Professional Bookkeeper) is preferred, not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with technology; strong knowledge of computer software and ability to learn technology quickly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced virtual environment with minimal supervision
- Critical thinking, problem solving, flexibility, and determination
- Willingness to learn and support new products and services
- Strong customer service skills - ability to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a way that is professional, friendly and reassuring
* Experience supporting Payroll, Sales Tax, or Tax Preparation is preferred, not required
