Our environment is data-informed, collaborative, and laser-focused on delighting our community. If you're passionate about quality, thrive in a live-ops setting, and enjoy building technical solutions to streamline testing, come join us!

Role Overview

As a QA Engineer for No Limit Drag Racing 2 , you'll be pivotal in ensuring top-notch quality and performance for one of our most popular racing titles. Beyond traditional testing, you'll develop and maintain automated testing systems, collaborate with engineers to integrate QA processes into the development pipeline, and help us deliver rock-solid game updates to our player community. This role is ideal for someone who excels at both hands-on testing and technical automation in a fast-paced, live-ops environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Automation & Tooling
  • Develop, maintain, and refine automated test suites that validate gameplay features, UI flows, and back-end systems. Work closely with engineering to ensure seamless integration into build pipelines.
  • Manual & Exploratory Testing
  • Execute hands-on playtests to detect gameplay, UI, and performance issues. Explore edge cases to identify and document hidden bugs before they impact the player experience.
  • Performance & Compatibility
  • Collaborate with developers to profile and optimize the game across various devices and platforms. Validate frame rate, memory usage, and device compatibility.
  • Bug Tracking & Reporting
  • Clearly document and prioritize defects in our bug-tracking system. Communicate findings and potential solutions to developers, designers, and stakeholders.
  • Release Management
  • Participate in release planning, smoke tests, and regression testing to ensure stable launches and quick turnaround on hotfixes.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Analyze QA processes and recommend improvements. Contribute to the creation of best practices, testing standards, and knowledge-sharing sessions within the studio.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with Unity engineers, designers, and product managers to align testing strategies with game updates and new features. Provide actionable feedback on design feasibility and testability.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in game QA or software QA , ideally with at least one live-operated mobile or console title.
  • Proven experience in test automation (e.g., writing scripts or using frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Unity test frameworks).
  • Familiarity with Unity -based workflows and the ability to identify issues at the project, scene, or prefab level.
  • Strong understanding of bug life cycle , including root cause analysis, documentation, and prioritization.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to distill technical defects into clear, actionable items for cross-functional teams.
  • Bonus : Experience with racing or vehicle-based games, performance profiling tools, or network testing for multiplayer scenarios.

Why Join Battle Creek Games?

  • High-Impact Role : Ensure a top-quality experience for millions of racers worldwide.
  • Technical Growth : Hone your automation skills and collaborate with a cutting-edge development team.
  • Collaborative Culture : Work in a supportive environment that values rapid iteration and shared successes.
