Job Description: Punchlist Technician  

Position: Punchlist Technician 
Reports To: Operations Manager 
Location: Rock Springs 

Job Overview:  
The Punchlist Technician is responsible for completing unfinished tasks, making minor repairs, and ensuring new homes are move-in ready on an as-needed basis. This is not a Full-time position and it is anticipated that this person will do work for other company's or individuals when no work is available. This role requires attention to detail, expertise in multiple finish trades, and an understanding of modern home construction. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent customer service skills while maintaining professionalism. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Complete punchlist items and address any issues or repairs needed before a home is handed over to the homeowner. 

• Conduct thorough inspections of homes to identify and rectify any incomplete or defective work. 

• Make minor repairs and adjustments as necessary, ensuring high-quality workmanship. 

• Follow detailed instructions and guidelines provided by the Operations Manager. 

• Communicate effectively with the Operations Manager and other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. 

• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with homeowners, while upholding company policies and interests. 

Qualifications:  

• Strong knowledge of various finish trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting). 

• Familiarity with modern home construction techniques and standards. 

• Excellent eye for detail and problem-solving skills. 

• Good customer-service skills with the ability to balance friendliness with professional boundaries. 

• Ability to work independently and efficiently, following directions from the Operations Manager. 

Requirements:  

• Proven experience in a similar role or related field. 

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively. 

• Own a set of basic tools and equipment necessary for the job. 

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. 

Work Environment:  

• Primarily field-based, working at various construction sites. 

• May involve working in different weather conditions.
