About the Program: The program is based in Orlando, FL, specifically within the Orange County areas. Each Project Manager (PM) will oversee 6-12 projects, varying in types such as old MEP, new construction, exterior, etc. The PMs work independently but function as an extension of the OCPS team, adhering to the same requirements as OCPS Project Managers. All resources and information funnel back through the OCPS team.

Position: Project Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a self-sufficient Project Manager to join our team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for owning projects from beginning to end, from design to closeout. This role involves managing 6-12 projects simultaneously, which can vary in type, including old MEP, new construction, and exterior projects. The PM will act as the Owner's Representative and will be involved in numerous meetings with stakeholders, the curriculum department, facilities, and other relevant parties.

Responsibilities:

• Manage 6-12 projects independently, ensuring they are completed from design to closeout.
• Act as an extension of the OCPS team, adhering to the same requirements as OCPS Project Managers.
• Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders, the curriculum department, facilities, and other relevant parties to provide project updates and review designs.
• Collaborate with other PMs for assistance and support.
• Spend the majority of time onsite, with occasional visits to project sites.
• Ensure all resources and information are funneled back through the OCPS team.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in K-12 construction.
• Understanding of the OCPS process of school construction.
• Experience with guidelines and some type of school construction experience.
• Specific experience in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) given the direction of the projects.
• HVAC experience is highly desirable.
• Background in architecture, engineering, or construction.

Plus:

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• Experience with E-Builder, as the department is transitioning to this platform.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam, which has been recently adopted.

Salary - 131,497
