Position Summary Manufacturing Production Workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) equipment including: .Operating machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods .Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products. Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
LOCATION:
Requires daily onsite attendance; this is not a remote-work position.
Duties And Responsibilities ESSENTIAL :
\n - Setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment, such as cabling, extrusion, armoring, braiding, and SFL assembly.
\n - Foreman will be required to understand and enforce daily compliance with Level 2, Level 3 and JSEA documents related to each production task.
\n - Must exercise the ability to review and verify operator competencies against standard work instructions.
\n - Must hold all team members accountable.
\n - Conduct toolbox talks, CORA talks related to High Hazard tasks.
\n - Lead risk reviews and verify action status.
\n - Align production team with plant wide goals related to safety, quality, and efficiency.
\n - Provide clear task instructions and define expectations.
\n - Work directly with supervisors on shift layout and daily task assignments for the team.
\n - Coordinate equipment issues and repairs with maintenance department.
\n - Knowledgeable of weekly manufacturing plans and production schedules.
\n - Strong interpersonal skills, understands how to lead by examples.
\n - Ability to deliver constructive feedback and mentoring without escalation.
\n - Learn to use future digitalization systems to effectively manage work related task.
\n - Ensures that all involved in the project are kept informed on any issues or challenges identified.
\n - Work closely with line operators, manufacturing engineers, QC department, and maintenance teams on continuous improvement.

Qualifications REQUIRED:
\n - 2-5 years of experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
\n - Bachelors degree may be considered in lieu of some experience.
\n - Good communication skills and ability to work well with a diverse group of people in a matrixed organization.
\n - Must be able to flex schedule if needed.
\n - Proficient computer skills required.
\n - Experience with Microsoft preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook)
\n - Must be able to wear required PPE for work area
\n - Must be able to obtain TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Card to access work location
\n

WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position is considered SHOP WORK which is characterized as follows:
\n - Generally, work performed indoors (80%) and occasional outdoors (20%). Hours of work depend on shift assigned.
\n - Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace
\n - Occasional travel to vendor sites for product evaluations.
\n - Work surface is stable (flat)
\n - Requires a great deal of manual dexterity, such as working with measuring and testing equipment, marking and hand/power tools.

OCCASIONAL :

\n - Lift 10-25 pounds
\n - Climb stairs/ladders, stand, balance, stoop, squat, reach and carry/lift objects.
\n - Twist body, sit with back unsupported, head forward/flexed, head tilted/rotated and work with arms extended overhead.
