Job Description

I. BASIC FUNCTIONS

Assists Managers and Scheduler. Inputs and reconciles daily reports of labor and material, reconciles differences in inventory actuals and reported results, and research problems in production and inventory control systems.

II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Acts as a back up for the Scheduler by assisting in the entering and placement of sales orders and various other duties. Communicates with sales, production, and supporting departments. Assists in weekly schedule meetings.
2. Creates work order packets based on current schedules and provides production plans for distribution to production crews.
3. Works with Quality department as needed.
4. If ERP punch system was used, verify all reports by crews and adjust as needed.
5. Closes out all completed jobs daily, ensuring the efficiency is correct. Report shortages and overages to the coordinating sales team members.
6. Provides necessary labels to production or supporting departments.
7. Reports materials made and used by the pigment department.
8. Completes various production reports as needed.
9. Prints forms and related documents for production as needed.
10. Files required records and documents.
11. Conducts daily mail run to general offices.
12. Assists crews with trouble shooting punch carts
13. Other duties and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training: High school graduate, computer basics, spreadsheet and word processing.

Experience: 2 -5 years in manufacturing, understanding of production, sales orders, schedule requirements, basic inventory procedures and operations including physical inventory or education beyond.

Skills/Aptitude: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Accurate, detail oriented, and flexible.

Working Conditions: Office and factory environment.
