The Product Developer, for all categories, handles multiple projects on various calendars/timelines concurrently. Organizes and maintains all samples, tech files, and pertinent information in regards to Eyewear and Goggles. This position will work directly with manufacturers and will focus on the development cycle and process to ensure that development of multiple product categories stays on track, with calendar, to hit target launch dates. This will include tooling, sampling and follow up tracking.

Job Responsibilities (including, but not limited to the following):

• Work with Product Manager to establish accurate timelines for new product development and product modifications seasonally.
• Maintain and communicate project status within the department.
• Communicate with factories on daily basis to ensure projects stay on task and calendar.
  1. Work with overseas vendors to critique prototypes, sales, and pre-production samples against the tech pack specifications for fit, form, function & design accuracy.
  2. Gather all pricing and delivery information – communicate all information and potential issues to department head.
• Facilitate and implement all processes and documents related to Product Development.
• Build, organize, and maintain detailed development line sheets
• Assisting with tech files (design production) when needed seasonally
  1. Ensure all tech files are detailed and clear for factories
  2. Checks all specs for accurate information
• Ongoing research of competitors, new product, and inspirational designs
• Maintains detailed and meticulous files of all samples and information
• Represent the product development team in all meetings, committees, and teams.
• Some travel may be required (factory visits, tradeshows, material suppliers etc.)

• Excellent time management skills to meet frequent deadlines
• Proficient in all Adobe and Microsoft programs (required)
• Previous experience in eyewear or goggles a plus, but not required
