Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize value from the supply chain.
2. Manage and oversee the procurement process, including sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and contract management.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring the timely delivery of quality materials and services.
4. Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand for services and products to ensure that procurement is carried out in the most cost and time-
efficient manner.
5. Conduct regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
6. Collaborate with project managers to determine procurement needs and specifications.
7. Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.
8. Coordinate with inventory teams and management to ensure all procurement activities align with project schedules.
9. Develop and manage the procurement budget, providing regular reports to senior management.
10. Continually improve the procurement process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement.
3. Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles.
4. Proven experience in managing a supply chain and procurement strategy.
5. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.
6. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
8. Proficiency in procurement software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
