The Procurement Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data related to our procurement activities to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. This role requires strong quantitative skills, a deep understanding of procurement processes, and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. The role will support all Procure-to-Pay and Strategic Category Management process continuous improvement initiatives to help deliver cost savings and operational efficiencies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collect and compile data from various sources such as Coupa, SAP, and other 3rd Party Platforms.

• Clean, validate, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.

• Perform quantitative analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

• Develop robust procurement data models and simulations to optimize negotiations and sourcing, aiming to achieve cost savings and operational efficiencies.

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key procurement metrics using Power BI.

• Present findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner through visualizations and presentations.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data for procurement initiatives.

• Identify inefficiencies in procurement processes through data analysis and recommend solutions for optimization.

• Implement and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of process improvements.
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance based on quantitative and qualitative data.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex information clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 4+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role within procurement or supply chain management.

LICENSES AND CREDENTIALS

• Professional supply chain certification such as CPSM preferred

SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

• Proficiency in data analysis tools

• Knowledge of Coupa, SAP, and other supply chain technology platforms is a plus.
