Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Prepress Technician to join our team. The Prepress Technician will be responsible for preparing and processing digital files for press. They will work closely with our creative and production teams to ensure that all projects are completed on time and meet the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Review and prepare digital files for press, including, trapping, color correction, color separations, profiling and generating color accurate proofs. Ensure that all files meet industry standards and are properly optimized for press. Collaborate with the creative and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise Maintain accurate and detailed records of all projects, including file versions and final output specifications Continuously monitor the quality of the work produced, and work with the team to improve processes and workflows Assist with calibration and management of proofing equipment. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in a prepress or related field Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign Strong understanding of color management, file formats and pre-press production Strong knowledge and understanding of digital, litho and Flexo printing technologies. Proficient with Esko, GMG and Epson prepress software and equipment. Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure Strong verbal and written communication skills Flexibility to work in a deadline-driven environment We are looking for someone who is passionate about print and production, with a strong desire to learn and grow in the field.
