Job Title: Power BI Developer
Location : Houston TX (3 days WFO).
Duration: Long Term
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for 6+ Years of extensive experience as a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing critical BI Dashboards and reports for our clients. You will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and other development teams to understand the needs.
Technical Skills:
About 6+ years of total experience working on a self-service tool like Power BI
Should be familiar and experienced in Power BI development
Develop visual reports, dashboards and scorecards using Power BI
Have depth and knowledge in being able to connect to various data sources, importing data and transforming data for gathering business intelligence
Analytical thinking for translating data into visuals and reports with ability to do advance level calculations and query large data sets
Experience with Talend ETL
Experience with Snowflake Cloud Warehouse
Experience in AWS Cloud
Experience and strongly proficient in Core Python, Data handling and manipulation and exception handling.
Should have experience in snowflake datawarehouse
Proficient at DAX querying
Developing, publishing Power BI reports as per the BU needs
Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly
Ability to plan, execute projects to deliver in time and with quality
Good to have:
Microsoft Power BI certification.
Experience in QlikView
Experience in Tableau
AWS Cloud experience
Responsibilities:
Design and develop end-to-end business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, data integration, and report/dashboard creation.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and design efficient and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards.
Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and best practices and provide recommendations for improvement
