Job Description

We are working with a rapidly growing beverage manufacturer seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to assist in the growth and expansion of their company. As a key member of their leadership team, you will oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control, safety, and maintenance. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, maximizing efficiency, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership:
  • Oversee daily plant operations, including production scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Implement and maintain robust quality control systems to ensure product consistency and compliance with industry standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to align production plans with business objectives.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Prioritize safety and ensure adherence to all safety regulations and protocols.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training programs to minimize risks and prevent accidents.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, including food safety, environmental, and labor laws.
  • Financial Performance:
  • Develop and manage annual operating budgets, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement cost-saving measures and optimize resource utilization to maximize profitability.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans for the plant, including capacity expansion and new product launches.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and competitive advantage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a plant management role within the food and beverage industry.
  • Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including ERP systems and production planning tools.
