A specialty healthcare organization on Long Island is currently seeking a licensed PMR / Interventional Pain Physician for a promising opportunity at one of their facilities in the Bronx. About the Opportunity: Specialty: Interventional Pain Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: 9am to 5pm Patient Population: Personal Injury, Workers' Comp, No Fault, Commercial, etc. Responsibilities: The PMR / Interventional Pain Physician will be responsible for Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients to understand their medical history, current condition, and functional limitations Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals Prescribing and overseeing various forms of rehabilitation therapy, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy Prescribing medications to manage pain, spasticity, muscle weakness, and other symptoms associated with disabilities or chronic conditions Engage in research to advance the field's understanding of rehabilitation techniques, interventional procedures, and outcomes for patients with disabilities or chronic conditions Perform other duties, as needed Qualifications: Licensed to practice Medicine in New York Board Eligible / Certified Your privacy is important to us.
