Neurology opening in southeast Missouri - H1b eligible * Located in *Cape Girardeau, MO - 115 miles from St. Louis Full-time, permanent opening Hospital-employed Outpatient only Joining an established group with 5 Physicians (2 Neurohospitalist) and 3 APPs Hospital has a Neurology floor and Neuro PIN unit EMG/NCS, EEG, autonomic testing, and vestibular testing available Ability to perform EMG/NCS is required Work schedule: Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 4:30pm New patients: 30 minute appointment. Established patients: 15 minute appointment Average number of patients a day: 18 - 22 *H1b visa sponsorship available!** EMR: Epic Group offers a full spectrum of neurological services, including inpatient and outpatient care. Some conditions treated include: Acute and chronic pain Alzheimer's disease Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis Headaches Multiple sclerosis Neuromuscular disease Parkinson's disease SeizuresIn addition to the Neurosciences Institute Epilepsy Center, patients have access to specialized care through the ALS clinic, a Certified Level 3 Epilepsy Center, and Spasticity Clinic. The healthcare system is also a Certified Stroke Center.
