If you are looking for experience before a post graduate healthcare related field this is perfect for you.  You will have an opportunity to learn all the things they won't teach you in school.  Great position for gap years.  You will have the opportunity to work side by side with some of the best in the field. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited too; assisting physical therapists in the gym, cleaning and preparing tables, assisting patients with equipment, greeting and assisting patients at check-in, answering calls, overall office maintenance and the opportunity to learn the hidden skills that you won't learn in school.

Applicants who possess the following skills will be strongly considered:

• Ability to hold friendly conversations with patients while completing their exercises or modalities
• Exceptional communication: to the patients, practitioners and entire team for Breakaway experience
• Be able to answer basic questions from patients and understand when the questions need to be directed back to the PT for more information (listening)
• Remember our patients- names and faces, small details that make their treatment amazing (fluffy vs soft pillow, room vs. gym, etc.) – (attention to detail)
• Be willing to ask for referrals, reviews from patients and testimonials when discussing their amazing experience (insightful)
• Organized and plans each day- ability to plan the day for ideal patient flow and focus on their key priorities
• Desire to constantly learn and grow each week (personally and professionally)
• Follows through on all commitments that they make and all tasks they start
• Ability to create new systems, documents and anything else needed to complete their role
• Demonstrates and ability to quickly and proficiently understand and absorb new information
• Brings new ideas to the team for growth and ways to do things more efficiently
• Be willing to put things together for the office, hang things on the wall (handy)
• Time management: completing opening and closing procedures in a timely fashion while not allowing patient care to suffer
• Attention to detail: cleaning tasks around the office and hygiene for patient care
• Able to work with more than one patient at a time while communicating  effectively

Availability: Monday-Friday
