Saint Benedict Catholic School seeks a Physical Education Teacher to begin Fall 2024. The school is committed to partnering with parents and providing a traditional education in a faith filled environment. The school is centrally located in Richmond's Museum District, with an expected enrollment of over 200 students.

The Physical Education Teacher will promote wellness, team work, self-discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship. The Physical Education Teacher will teach all PK - 8 physical education classes and organize field day. (part-time exempt, approx. 11 hours per week). Ideally Physical Education will occur at the end of the school day.

Applicant Requirements

Applicant must

• hold a bachelor's degree or better from an accredited college or university
• have a passion and commitment to classical education
• be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
• be able to collaborate effectively
• be able to work effectively with students one on one and in small groups
• upon employment, be able to pass criminal background checks

All Applicants should

• have prior experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
• hold a Virginia Teacher Certification or have the qualifications necessary to obtain one upon hire
