Job Summary:

Are you ready to make a difference in the community? As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists with medication preparation and labeling. You'll be involved in a variety of technical support functions, all under the guidance of a registered pharmacist.

Welcome to Samaritan Lebanon Pharmacy , a community pharmacy nestled within a multidisciplinary ambulatory clinic in Lebanon. Our doors are open to everyone, and we pride ourselves on providing exceptional patient care. In addition to dispensing prescriptions, we offer immunizations, medication management services, and contraceptive prescribing, all delivered by our dedicated team of experienced pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

Your Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in medication preparation and labeling.
• Perform a variety of technical support functions.
• Engage with patients and provide excellent customer service.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensing: One of the following:
  • Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License.
  • Currently enrolled first-year PharmD student in good standing with an accredited pharmacy school and current unencumbered Oregon Board of Pharmacy Intern license.
• Preferred: Successful completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician course.
• Note: All job offers are contingent upon passing a pre-employment/post-offer drug screen.

Essential Skills:

• Communication: Strong written and oral skills to convey complex information effectively.
• Computer Literacy: Proficient in electronic equipment and software applications.
• Customer Service: Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• Mathematics: Understanding of arithmetic, algebra, and statistics.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Clerical Skills: Familiarity with administrative procedures and office terminology.
