Position Summary

This position reports to and supports the Store Manager in all assigned aspects of store operations and works as a personal stylist/shopper with customers on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Share our mission to love, strengthen and celebrate customers by delivering the Mainstream Boutique Stillwater experience online and in-store.
• Greet all customers at the door.
• Create a comfortable and welcoming environment, develop rapport, and establish genuine connections with customers.
• Responsible for assisting customers with product education, fit, and styling tips.
• Regularly find pieces for customers suitable for their needs and lifestyle. Offer suggestions and feedback as necessary.
• Find sizes, add on pieces, and tend to customers in and out of the fitting room.
• Inform customers of our Rewards Program, events, and any sales or offers.
• Complete sales transactions through POS system and thank all customers for shopping at MB Stillwater.

Product

• Expert knowledge of brands carried at MB Stillwater, fits, fabrications, and trends during each season.
• Restock merchandise on sales floor as needed.
• Familiarize yourself with new arrivals.
• Assist Social Media Specialist by taking pictures/videos in new merchandise as requested.

Team

• Be a team player- assist other part-time/full-time stylists with customers and sales as needed
• Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Attend quarterly team meetings.
• Inform the Store Manager of support you need, ideas you have, or any issues that may arise. 
• Ask for help when needed

Visual Merchandising

• Merchandise the store according to MB Stillwater standards. Daily: Regularly size, straighten and replenish clothing, basics, denim, shoes, jewelry, and accessories on the sales floor. Bi-Weekly: Style mannequin displays and tables. Weekly: Work with Store Manager to remerchandise sales floor and move items to clearance.
• Keep the Store Manager up-to-date on needs for broken/damaged furniture, fixtures, or mannequins

Events

• Assist with event planning and execution and provide customer service during events.

Operations

• Ensure customer information in the POS is kept up to date and established sales goals are met.

Skills + Abilities

• Customer-focused, organized multitasker who loves the fast pace of retail.
• Passion for fashion and styling with a commitment to execution and attention to detail.
• Action-oriented problem solver accountable for delivering results through effective teamwork.
• Proficient with computer operation, retail point of sale tools, and systems.

Schedule Requirements

• 10-28 hours/week, including three weekend days a month and at least three holidays per calendar
