PART TIME MAIL CLERK/COURIER - KEY WEST

Need to be available Monday-Friday

Salary Range: $18 - 20 per hour depending upon experience and education.

Position Summary:

The Mail Room Courier is responsible for daily pick up and deliveries in the Key West area.

Position Responsibilities:

• Mail organization and distribution, including sorting and delivering interoffice and outgoing mail, pick-up and drop-off at the Post Office, Sort mail and distribute by the branch and office locations, including preparing Fed-Ex deliveries
• Coordinate ordering, inventory, and disbursement of office supplies. Fill orders for Branches, check supplies and prepare distribution. Fill supply closest and kitchen supplies
• Log and track maintenance requests
• Maintain all leased copier statistics
• Police branches to remove debris and litter
• Collect documents identified for shredding and recycling and contact shredding
• Responsibilities also include other duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager

Competencies:

• Physically able to lift and carry odd shapes and sizes of up to 50 pounds
• Flexible and highly motivated team member
• Organized and has strong attention to detail
• Work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment
• Good communication skills to communicate with supervisor and staff

Required Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Good driving record
• Previous mail courier and maintenance experience
