The Urbandale Public Library is currently accepting applications for Part-Time Library Assistant. If you enjoy helping people working with technology and being part of a vibrant community space this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Under the guidance of the Patron Experience Manager Library Assistants connect patrons with physical and digital resources assist with all kinds of technology support the circulation of materials and provide outstanding customer service to a diverse patron population of all ages. No two days are the same and every day brings new opportunities to learn problem-solve and make a difference in someones day.
Current Openings in the Patron Experience Department:
Library Assistant (30 hours/week) Considered Permanent Part-Time 30 referred to as PPT30.
Library Assistant (20 hours/week) Considered Permanent Part-Time 20 referred to as PPT20.
Substitute Library Assistant (Up to 20 hours/week) Considered Part-Time. Scheduling is flexible however Substitutes are typically asked to cover at least one weekend shift per 4-week period.
Benefits:
PPT20 and PPT30 employees are eligible to earn time off.
PPT30 employees are also eligible for additional benefits.
