We are seeking an experienced Packaging Engineer with a background in the cosmetics or personal care industry. Job Description:

• Plan and direct activities related to the design and development of protective packaging containers and components. Analyze engineering drawings and product specifications to determine the physical characteristics of items, special handling and safety requirements, and the appropriate materials for containers and components.
• Collaborate with purchasing and production departments to evaluate costs and assess the feasibility of producing proposed packaging designs.
• Develop or oversee the creation of sketches, specifications, samples, and detailed written analyses of proposed packaging to present designs for approval.
• Provide guidance on efficient packing procedures, innovations in packaging materials, and the use of sealing and fastening devices.
• Utilize CAD software and tools to create precise packaging designs.
• Apply expertise in SolidWorks to design packaging solutions.
