As Our Client’s new Team Lead , you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the success of their client services. You'll build and manage a team of 6-9 remote accounting specialists, ensuring the highest quality of service for 40-60 medium-sized clients.

· Lead with Joy: You'll be responsible for fostering a positive and supportive team environment. Weekly meetings and individual 1:1s will help you build strong relationships and ensure team members feel valued and empowered.

· Make a Difference: You'll directly impact the success of our client’s firm and their clients. Your team will handle a broad range of services, including bookkeeping, payroll, bill pay, expense management, and more.

· Interesting Client Work: While your role is primarily internal, focused on supporting the team, you will engage directly in client work on some of the most complicated, institutional clients on your team. This will include assisting the team in complicated cleanup work, certain sophisticated accrual journal entries, assisting in 3rd party audits, etc.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

· 3+ years of experience managing a team of accounting professionals

· 5+ years of handling complex accounting issues for both cash and accrual-based corporations, ideally within a similar consulting, accounting or advisory environment

· Hands-on command of cloud-based accounting platforms (QBO, Bill.com, Gusto, Expensify, etc.)

· Undergrad degree in Accounting or other Business related degree

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· A passion for training, mentoring, and building team cohesion

· Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude

· A demonstrated track record of career growth, accomplishment and stability
