Job Title: OB Scrub Tech (L&D)

Duration: 3 months (extendable)
Shift: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Pay: $45/hour - $47/hour
Required Skills & Responsibilities:Order and stock supplies for OR, PACU, labor rooms, and related areas, ensuring instruments and supplies are readily available.
Maintain sterile technique in the operative area, including proper scrub, gown, and glove procedures.
Set up the operative table and pass instruments while maintaining accurate sponge and instrument counts.
Assist surgeons during procedures such as Cesarean Sections, Hysterectomies, Dilation and Curettage, manual placenta removal, and cervical laceration repair.
Communicate patient information and potential issues to the nurse throughout the shift, reporting timely and accurate condition changes.
Respond to patient and family requests for assistance, answering call lights promptly.
Ensure patient belongings are properly stored, labeled, and sent with patients upon discharge, transfer, or expiration.
Maintain composure and exercise sound judgment while working as part of a team in emergency situations.
Assist in crisis situations by isolating and removing other patients and family members while providing support.
Properly use and maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness and adherence to protocols.
Provide safe and effective patient care through sound clinical judgment and critical actions.
Adhere to NJ Department of Health regulations, JCAHO standards, and institutional policies while upholding professional ethics.
