Nurse Manager of PediatricsLocation: Dallas, TXWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager of Pediatrics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a BSN degree and a current RN license for the State of Texas or compact license. They must also have a current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider certification. Effective 1/1/2014 PALS is required within 6 months of hire or transfer. The candidate must have at least 5 years of RECENT Pediatric experience in the ACUTE CARE hospital setting management experience. We would consider someone with progressive leadership experience in a unit of equal or larger size and complexity.Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Pediatric unit Ensure that all patient care is delivered in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive care Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of nursing staff Manage the unit budget and resourcesRequirements: BSN degree Current RN license for the State of Texas or compact license Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider certification Effective 1/1/2014 PALS is required within 6 months of hire or transfer 5 years of RECENT Pediatric experience in the ACUTE CARE hospital setting management experience Excellent leadership and communication skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals Pay Range: $107,000 - $120,000 per year
