Job Description Position Highlights:
• This is a full-time, remote position with rotating job responsibilities including but not limited to: Virtual Same Day Clinic, ED Diversions, Clinical On-Call, task coverage.
• This position may require various shift coverages such as weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• One full-time role will be Saturday, Sunday and one weekday (12hr shifts), The other full-time role will be primarily weekdays with rotating weekends as needed (8hr shifts).
• Position will require schedule flexibility with weekends required. Possible schedule may look like 3×12 one week and 3×12 plus 1×8 the next week to meet 80 hours.
• 95% work from home, all equipment provided
• Telecommute post training (1 week of onsite training at El Segundo)
• Receive escalated overnight calls from nurse triage
• Support after-hours assignments and tasks for sites located across Southern California
• tech savvy, utilize multiple EMRs (Touchworks, Epic, NextGen)
• Tele-med acute care phone and video visits

Required Qualifications:
• Master's degree (MSN) and certification by one of the Nurse Practitioner certifying bodies (ANCC or AANP) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) is required
• 2+ years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in an emergency medicine, urgent care, family medicine or ambulatory care setting
• An unrestricted DEA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Ability to successfully qualify for and obtain unrestricted CA state licensure throughout the defined platform is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ESI (Emergency Severity Index) certification within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bilingual Spanish speaking
