Remote EST hours 6+ month Contract We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer with expertise in Zscaler, CrowdStrike, cloud security, and automation to join our dedicated team. As a Network Security Engineer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our network infrastructure, data, and systems against cyber threats. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust security solutions that ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our resources. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage security solutions leveraging Zscaler and CrowdStrike technologies to protect network infrastructure and endpoints. Configure and maintain Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) policies to enforce security controls and enable secure remote access. Deploy and manage CrowdStrike Falcon platform for endpoint protection, threat detection, and incident response. Monitor network traffic and security events using SIEM solutions to detect and respond to security incidents in real-time. Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security risks and implement remediation measures. Collaborate with cloud security teams to ensure the security of cloud-based infrastructure and applications. Develop and maintain security automation scripts and workflows to streamline security operations and response processes. Participate in security incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery. Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices. Provide guidance and support to other teams on security best practices and compliance requirements. Requirements: 6+ years of network security experience Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer In-depth knowledge of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) solutions. Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon platform for endpoint security. Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation. Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) solutions. Familiarity with network protocols, firewall technologies, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
