Our client, a leader in technology solutions, is seeking a Network Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Lafayette, Indiana

What's the Job?

• Maintaining, upgrading, and installing the company's network including switches, routers, Wireless, Firewalls, and other technologies.
• Maintaining the company's internet lines and fostering excellent relationships with partners/ISPs.
• Monitoring and evaluating the entire network and providing recommendations for improvements.
• Maintaining the company's VoIP system and collaboration systems.
• Leading projects with moderate resource requirements and technical complexity.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, or related major, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of five years of experience engineering and implementing infrastructure solutions.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP Enterprise, Voice, Data Center are highly preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of routing and switching technologies including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and MPLS.
• Experience with security products including Palo Alto FW and Cisco ASA/FirePower.
