**Position Summary:**
**Duties:**
The UA Museum of the North Visitor Services department is looking for a few outgoing people to join our customer service team. UAMN sees thousand of visitors every year, and our Visitor Services team works to make every visitor feel welcomed and every visit a positive experience.
**We are specifically seeking student employees who are available to work during the academic year (August through May).**
Prior customer service and cash handling experience preferred. A background in retail sales is helpful but not required.
The successful candidate job duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and point of sale systems.
* Sales and customer service experience.
* Ability to work cooperatively.
* Ability to speak in front of groups of people.
* Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
* Ability to lift 40 pounds.
Work hours are 8 AM through 7 PM seven days a week and subject to change. Applicants must be willing to work a varied schedule and occasionally put in additional hours as special events require.
