Our client is seeking a Mortgage Loan Originator to be a primary company representative to the homebuyer community. The objective of this role is to receive inbound referrals from qualified homebuyers looking to refinance or make their next purchase.

Qualifications:

• NMLS license in (CA, TN, FL, TX) minimum of two for consideration

• Minimum of at least two years of mortgage sales experience

• Strong knowledge in conventional and Non QM

• Internal mortgage sales experience preferred

• Ability to multi-task

• Ability to handle north of 10 new leads per day with effective follow up

• Knowledge of mortgage procedures, documentation, and underwriting guidelines

• Demonstrate the ability to manage large influx of business generated leads

• Proven track record of working with wholesale/correspondent lending

• Develops and expands internal and external referral sources

• Consultative selling techniques, advises clients on mortgage loan options and other financial products

• Provides excellent customer service from approval through closing

• Proven ability to effectively work with Operations/closing partners

• Responsible for maintaining client relationships

• Submit complete loan applications to underwriting with all document

• Experience with mortgage LOS, POS, and CRM systems

• Effective partner management with Account Executives for top lenders

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills

• Strong PC- Internet skills

• Performs other duties as assigned

NOTE: this position is considered to be a Mortgage Loan Originator under the SAFE Act and Loan Originator under the Truth in Lending Act. Registration and additional qualifications required.

Responsibilities:

• Build rapport and leverage customer relationships with existing and potential borrowers with the goal of meeting customer needs and exceeding their expectations

• Analyze customers' financial situations and provide the appropriate solution by advising customers as to the appropriate loan product for them

• Excel in a fast paced environment with the ability to multitask and follow up with multiple customers and work on multiple files each and every day

• Accept multiple live, qualified inbound leads daily

• Lock loans at point of sale, request initial documents from the customer, and submit an initial, paperless loan package to production staff

• Structure and price loans accurately

• Perform other duties as assigned

• This position is Salary + Commission
