Job Title : Medical Device Assembler III
Job Location : Temecula, CA
Shift Hours : 5:00AM - 1:30PM or 6:00AM - 2:30PM Payrate : $19.69/hr Overtime : Hours exceeding 40 per week will be compensated at Time and a Half. Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Technician to join our team in the production of high-quality cardiovascular medical devices. This role involves working within a manufacturing cell, where you will be responsible for the detailed assembly and operation of various equipment and machinery in accordance with documented procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Assembly and Operation: Assemble medical devices and related components, which may include electronic assembly, casting/coating functions, mechanical assembly, and packaging. Work may take place in a controlled cleanroom environment.
Equipment Handling : Utilize a variety of tools and equipment, including microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering equipment, and adhesive bonding tools, to perform assembly tasks.
Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies. Perform tests on units using computerized test equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Documentation and Record Keeping : Maintain accurate records of travelers, shop floor paperwork, and quality documents to ensure traceability of all parts and address any quality issues effectively.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices and equipment during operations. Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to enhance production processes.
Communication and Collaboration: Notify supervisors of the need to replenish supplies/materials and report any production difficulties. Collaborate with the Manufacturing Supervisor/Manager to set and monitor individual goals and performance metrics.
Work Environment Maintenance : Ensure a clean and sanitary work environment throughout the facility.
Additional Duties : Perform other related tasks as assigned.
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly role.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written procedures in English at a 6th-grade level.
- Basic math skills at a 6th-grade level.
- Effective verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficient in using electronic data collection systems and computer software packages.
- Strong dexterity for handling and maneuvering small components and parts.
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance and sequencing.
- Capable of making critical decisions and judgments with minimal supervision.
