We are seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for expanding the company's book of business by selling various types of insurance policies to new and existing clients.

Responsibilities:

• This team member will be responsible for ensuring that all providers are
  correctly and successfully credentialed, licensed and insured to the fullest to
  be able to practice at 2881 S Valley View Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89102 and any
  other locations or entities as required.
  ● This team member will own from start to finish correctly updating and
  maintaining all provider and network listings to bring a constant flow of new
  and old patients to the practice.
  ● This team member will be responsible to creating and maintaining accurate
  lists of accepted payers
  ● This team member will be responsible for ensuring that all patient
  insurances and required authorizations are on file and active at least 2 days
  before the patient is due to be seen in office.
  ● This team member will also ensure that copays are correctly collected and
  entered into our respective practice systems
  ● This team member will assist the Department Head in maintaining a positive
  collection of outstanding patient balances and settling patient accounts
  ● This team member will be responsible for ensuring complete and accurate
  note taking in any situation.
  ● This team member will be responsible for the completion and maintenance
  of all outstanding patient account balances.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in insurance, customer service, or other related fields
• Previous experience in CPT and ICD 10 codes
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Knowledge of Nevada insurances
• Microsoft Office experience in Word and Excel
