Are you a detail-driven professional with a knack for numbers and expertise in mechanical systems? Kalos Services is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join our team. Your role will be critical in preparing precise estimates for HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical projects, ensuring our operations are cost-effective and competitive.

Location - Remote

Compensation- $60k - $80k yearly

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Perform detailed take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define project scopes and refine estimates.
• Source and negotiate pricing with vendors and subcontractors.
• Assess project risks and opportunities to ensure comprehensive estimates.
• Maintain and update cost databases for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Present estimates to stakeholders in a clear and professional manner.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator in HVAC, plumbing, or related mechanical trades.

• Design-build estimation experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, codes, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in estimation software such as Accubid.
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Commitment to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to think critically and creatively.
