PAY RATE: $12.00-$15.00/hour, based upon hands on experience.

We proudly manufacturer all of our products and accessories in the USA with headquarters located in Columbia, MO. All of our products are engineered using a scientific approach which is reflected in the high quality of our designs. Every design contains unique features maximizing performance to provide our customers with the best experience possible.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INTERN POSITION : Our Manufacturing Interns will gain exposure to a critical part in the mechanical engineering design and production process. You will assist our team with new product design and improvement, inventory tracking, product assembly and quality control.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INTERN JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Troubleshoot part/product issues and identify potential design flaws.
• Work with Engineering team to make suggestions in improving overall design quality of products.
• Assist in the design of new and current products as needed.
• Prepare parts and assist in the sand blasting/ceracote/curing process.
• Learn how to operate and assist with our laser engraving process.
• Help hand assemble parts into our finished product.
• Package product and prepare orders to ship.
• Assist with inventory tracking of both parts and assembled products.
• Ensure standards are met via our quality control process for parts and assembled products.

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING INTERN QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must reside in Columbia, Missouri Area during the span of this internship
• REQUIRED; Positive attitude and hard worth ethic.
• REQUIRED: Attention to details
• PREFERRED; Knowledge of gun sights
• Exposure to Solidworks a huge plus!
• Flexibility in your schedule; can potentially work some weekends as needed when product demand fluctuates.
