Part time, 30 hours/week

Join a small company making premium, all-natural dog treats and chews

Job Duties

• Trim and cut raw meats, poultry and fish using a knife and/or meat slicer
• Load and unload freezers, refrigerators and dehydrators
• Wash, rinse and sanitize equipment and utensils in a three-compartment sink
• Maintain clean, safe and sanitary condition of kitchen, food storage and preparation areas at all times
• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned

Compensation & Perks:

• Starting at $16.50 per hour
• Kitchen hours: Mon.-Fri., 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Closed on weekends and major holidays including Fourth of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day
• Work directly with the owners of a small, fast-growing company

Requirements

• Work experience in a butcher shop, meat department or restaurant kitchen is desired, but not mandatory
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for at least 4 hours
• Valid California food handler’s certification
• Must have a source of reliable transportation
