Materials & Scheduling Coordinator Job Description: Coordinates and plans ordering of raw materials, packaging, as well as assists with blending and production schedules for the manufacturing, packaging, and warehousing of juice products. Maintain sufficient inventories to meet production requirements so that customer orders can be completed in full and on time.
Responsibility and Duties: - Utilize all resources to reduce plant costs through purchasing & material consumption reduction working alongside with corporate purchasing personnel when needed.
- Providing information pertinent to materials & scheduling to key stakeholders.
- Data entry of production quantities into various databases.
- Run and analyze Production Planning Report, analyzing the information and ordering materials needed to run production.
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files, processing receiving paperwork, and analyzing reporting.
- Coordinate production planning, order materials enter receiving's into South Ware, process transfers of finished goods and raw materials, and adjust monthly inventories for co-manufacturing customers.
- Read and interpret documents such as production schedules, inventory reports, sales forecast, etc.
- Run and analyze Production Planning Report, analyzing the information and ordering materials needed to run production.
- Create purchase orders for various items needed for the production of product.
- Verification and processing of invoices related to items received/ordered.
- Conduct and coordinate physical cycle counts, compare actual counts to counts in South Ware, make adjustments when necessary.
- Confer with all departments to assess progress and discuss needed changes.
- Other duties/responsibilities assigned.
Education and/or Experience: Associate degree Preferred, at least five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficient typing and computer skills including knowledge of accounting software, Database software; Internet software; e-Supply Chain (SAP and Oracle), Inventory software; Order processing systems; Microsoft Suite
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however the employee may be required to enter production areas where the noise level is usually loud and hearing protection is required.
