Corteva has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician to join our team at our El Paso, IL site.

What You Will Do:

\n

\n
• Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and
\n
• HVAC, for process and facility
\n
• Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting, and scheduled inspections of equipment, following the prescribed guidelines and procedures
\n
• Review and assist program leaders and teams with the electrical safety program to ensure adherence and
\n
• Adhere to all quality systems & safety procedures including environmental regulations, OSHA, PSM, and
\n
• Corteva's safety procedures in everyday work routine
\n
• Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes including the
  addition of new devices, and hardware.
\n
• Various other duties as assigned
\n

Qualifications

Education:

\n

\n
• You have a high school diploma or equivalent
\n

\n

What Skills You Need:

\n

\n
• You possess an Apprentice electrician license.
\n
• You possess two (2) to five (5) years of Industrial Electrician experience
\n
• You possess working knowledge and are willing and able to interpret the National Electric Code (NEC)
\n
• You are comfortable with technology you possess good computer aptitude and are willing and able to learn
  other company-specific applications as required
\n
• You have a valid US Driver's License
\n
• You are willing and able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation: Climb and/or work in
  elevated areas, Stand, and sit for extended periods, Work both outdoors and indoors in hot, cold, wet, and dry
  conditions,
\n
• Lift up to 50 lbs. and perform work that involves repetitive motion and/or repetitive lifting
\n
• You have good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
\n
• You have high diligence can multitask, maintain an organized workplace, and have excellent critical thinking skills
\n
• You will always work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go
  home safely every day
\n
• You are willing and able to work overtime hours, including a Call-in job as needed to address an immediate need.
\n

What Makes You Stand Out:

\n

\n
• Associate or Two-Year Trade School Degree within the Technical, Electrical, or Mechanical field
\n
• Journeyman electrician license
\n

\n

This positions is required to work on site 5 days a week.
