Seeking qualified candidate for Mailroom duties. Pickup, process and deliver incoming and outgoing mail.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Pickup mail daily at Vincennes Post Office

• Sort and Deliver mail on schedule.

• Pickup and process outgoing mail, packages, and printing/imaging requests.
• Deliver finished printing and imaging jobs.

• Receive, record, and deliver packages.

• Process certified letters.

• Operate maintain Mail Van and Gem

• Operate mailroom computer with UPS, FEDEX, BULK MAILER PROFESSIONAL programs.

• Operate Shrink Wrapper

• Maintain compliance with all postal regulations.

• Operate mailroom computer with UPS, FEDEX, Bulk Mailer Professional.

Record inventory for mailroom, imaging, commercial printing at end of fiscal year.

Order water as needed.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• At all times when speaking to coworkers, director and customers, speak clearly, professionally, and without attitude or profanity.

• Be kind and professional to all customers, on phone and in person.

• Must safely lift 50-pound cartons or packages. Other lifting may be required to assist coworkers. Must be able to work all shift on your feet.
• Must be dependable.

While part-time employees are not eligible for the University's benefit plan, there are certain required taxes that will be deducted from part-time employees' pay in order for the University to remain compliant with state and federal laws.
