Warehouse Support Personnel
The job description is as follows:
Outbound Shipping
Scan boxes through our portal to create a shipping label.
Place the box into a bag, seal the bag and affix the label for shipment.
The completed box/bags are stacked on a cart.
Inbound Shipping
Scan boxes received into the facility through our portal.
Place the scanned boxes onto a pallet.
Please note, we are a permitted materials processing facility as well as a ten day transfer station. The personnel can be exposed to containers of regulated medical waste, pathological waste among other things. Please note, the waste is containerized and meets all federal, state and local standards. They can be exposed to odors from our autoclave when waste is being processed. We would like to discuss the possibility of training these personnel in bloodborne pathogens so that they can handle sharps.
The hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Please note, there is a potential for overtime work needed. It is not mandatory but will be offered throughout the assignment as needed.
