Job Description

We are hiring for a full time Land Surveyor in our Greendale and Madison, IN office.


Responsibilities Include:

Using latest surveying technologies including robotic, total stations, and data controllers
Using RTK/RTN GPS for topographic, boundary, and construction layout
3D scanning and drone experience is a plus
Coordinate findings with surveying, engineering, and architectural personnel, clients, and other involved parties
Record and preserve accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed
Work independently and manage field crews
Drafting as needed

Minimum Requirements Include:

Bachelor's Degree in Surveying from an accredited institution
AutoCAD Civil3D and Carlson software experience
Valid driver's license and good driving record

Preferred Qualifications Include:

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D
Ability to perform field calculations
Familiarity with construction drawings and processes
Ability to perform tasks with minimal oversight
Ability to communicate verbally and written, to interact with the public and appropriately answer questions and address issues raised by property owners and others associated with the project
Knowledge of job site safety
Physical ability to traverse a variety of terrain while carrying equipment
a license as a Land Surveyor

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Experience:
AutoCAD: 1 year (Preferred)
