Job Description
Mentor Technical Group (MTG) provides a comprehensive portfolio of technical support and solutions for the FDA-regulated industry. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment and facility systems.
Ensure compliance with state electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards .
Support preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure efficient equipment performance.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, inspections, and compliance activities.
Respond to emergencies and provide technical expertise to resolve electrical issues.
Qualifications
Valid North Carolina Electrical License (required).
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a regulated industry (pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or food manufacturing).
Strong knowledge of NEC codes, safety regulations, and GMP compliance .
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
Experience with automated systems, PLCs, and instrumentation.
Knowledge of cleanroom and controlled environment requirements.
Familiarity with validation and documentation practices in regulated industries.
