Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics, and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians, Straub provides diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatrics, internal medicine, vascular, and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Regions only multidisciplinary burn treatment center and is known for adopting innovative medical practices such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.
Our neurosurgeons specialize in surgical treatment of neurological disorders and trauma to the head, neck, or spine, performing procedures like laser microsurgery, surgeries for cerebral aneurysms, vascular malformations, pituitary and spinal cord disorders, skull-based tumors, and pain relief surgeries. They are among the most skilled in Hawai'i.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients and their families, assisting physicians in delivering care across all ages, in accordance with practice standards and your training. We seek individuals with warm, sensitive patient care, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving health in Hawai'i.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawaii Licensed Practical Nurse license. Current American Heart Association BLS CPR card.
Preferred Qualifications: One year recent LPN experience in General Surgery. Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding. Experience with online medical software systems.
Hawaii Pacific Health offers a comprehensive benefits package. Pay rate is between $31.56 and $33.22 per hour, based on experience and skills.
