Marquis Industrial Services is expanding its services through offering Rope Access capabilities for our clients. Marquis is building a team of experienced SPRAT or IRATA Level I, II, and III Certified Rope Access Technicians. This is an amazing opportunity to be on the ground floor and help design and build Marquis' Rope Access Service line.

The Rope Access Team will be responsible for carrying out standard rope access operations to perform inspections, repairs, and other industrial work tasks on industrial equipment. The Team must have the ability to perform work that is physically demanding, be able to communicate effectively with each otherand the ability to be able to resolve issues as they arise.

Job Duties

• Abide by and follow established Marquis Safety rules and practices.
• Uses Industrial Rope Access methods and related equipment to access and complete a wide variety of maintenance, repairs and other industrial work tasks while on ropes or in difficult access areas.
• Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to the IRAT/SPRAT OSHA standards and practices.
• Ensures team members utilize proper personal protective equipment.
• Inspects and verifies rope access systems and components before use.
• Participates in required training and maintains a working understanding of rope access safe working practices.
• Performs daily inspections and verifies rope access systems and components are working properly.
• Recognize worksite hazards through completing Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
• Maintains proficiency at rescue techniques and assist in rescues as directed and in accordance with certification level.

Qualification Standards:

• IRATA Level I, II certified
• Insualtion Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
• Must be able to pass a background and hair follicle testing.
• Comply with customers job site safety requirements.
• Ability to work at heights while performing work task.
• Valid Drivers' License
• Performs physical activities that require considerably use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, and walking
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Must have either NCCER/NACE Certifications.
