Position Type: Part-time

Compensation: $14.00-$18.00 hourly based on experience + performance based bonuses

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated, organized, and customer-oriented Leasing Agent/Office Administrator to join our team at Courtyard Apartments at Cordova, a multifamily apartment community. In this role, you will be responsible for leasing units, managing resident relations, and performing administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the property. You will serve as the first point of contact for prospective residents and current tenants, handling inquiries, processing applications, and supporting office functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and provide information on available units and amenities.

Assist with the lease application process, including screening applicants, processing background and credit checks, and preparing lease agreements.

Respond to resident inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.

Maintain positive relationships with current residents to promote retention and a welcoming community environment.

Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.

Maintain and update resident files, leasing documentation, and other office records.

Assist with rent collections and coordinate lease renewals.

Ensure all leasing and property-related documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

Handle general office tasks such as filing, copying, and data entry.

Support the property manager and other team members with daily operations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in leasing, property management, or customer service preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, and basic technology skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and a strong customer service mindset.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk the property, show apartments, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
