JOB SUMMARY

This is a supervisor / management position that is responsible for executing landscape plans, managing projects, schedules, employees and maintaining productive relationships with customers.

Duties and functions of the job:

• Execute projects such as mulching, deep edging, shrub trimming, pulling and spraying weeds, and other maintenance required as it pertains to making commercial or residential properties appear professional and well kept.
• Manage the entire scope of projects and making the best use of personnel that is assigned to your crew.
• Use various equipment including a pickup truck and trailer, zero turn lawn mowers, shrub trimmers, weed whackers, sidewalk edgers and other various hand tools.
• Drive a commercial vehicle and pull a trailer.
• Manage, develop, and effectively communicate with your crew.
• Perform maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Making sure quality is up to company standards on all projects and maintenance duties performed.

• Ability to communicate directly and effectively.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Must be a creative problem solver with the capacity to innovate and improvise.
• Willing to learn and grow in a management role within the company.
• Must be in a fit physical condition and able to work 40-60 hour weeks when weather permits.
• Taking pride in a superior quality of work and always upholding the standard.

Additional Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record to meet insurance standards.
• One year of experience leading a landscaping crew.
• Must have advanced mowing equipment experience.
• Must be able to move and/or lift up to 60 pounds consistently in addition to hand spreading mulch or other materials as needed.
